The role of Africa in world events

A cursory look at world events in the not-too-distant past until now , point to unfolding events and testimonies which bring out Africa and her sons and daughters as the place of refuge and world leaders respectively , in an increasingly stressful world.
Africa and her sons have always been called to the task when the going gets rough and tough. We must not forget that the first mighty man on earth was an African called Nimrod the grandson of Ham the son of Noah. Nimrod is also described by the bible as the first mighty hunter before the Lord (Gen 10:9)
When the ark of the Lord which contains the Presence of the Lord was mishandled and needed a temporary place of refuge , it was taken to the house of Obed -Edom a black man(1chronicle 13:14). When the entire world was in food crisis in the time of Joseph, it was Africa that supplied the world with grain for the seven year period of famine Gen 41:57
When the Savior of the world Jesus Christ was born and His life was in danger, His parents had to flee with Him to Egypt, Africa until pharaoh the king died when they returned to Israel (Matthew2.13, 20)
On his final journey to His crucifixion, it was an African, Simon of Cyrene who helped Jesus carry His cross.The unveiling biblical history of Africa and her sons in the politics of the world is a pointer to God’s prophesies and mindon Africa the place of great refuge for the Lord’s people.
